Well, Day 1 (for the 100th time) was a success!

So I mentally prepared myself last night that I would get up bright and early at 4:45am this morning to start Day 1 of P90X (again). Thankfully it worked. The alarm went off, I laid there for just a couple of minutes and then I was up and at 'em.

Although Day 1 should have been Chest and Shoulders, I actually did Legs and Back. I had done a couple of the workouts over the last week or so but had not committed fully to restarting. Today was the day and Legs and Back was the next dvd in line. I've kept to my last idea of skipping the KenpoX, Plyometrics, YogaX, etc and substituting running in their place.

Tomorrow I doubt I'll be able to walk. On Sunday I rode my new bike about five miles. It has been a really long time since I rode a bike last. For some reason only my left leg has been sore and not my right...who knows. Either way, after the 5 miles and Legs and Back this morning, it was likely a bad idea to hit the road running for 3 miles...but I did it anyway. Needless to say, I started off with a BANG today. Hopefully I am able to keep my momentum up. I long for the results I had after my first 45 days of P90X a few months ago.

Here's to another bright and early morning tomorrow. I have yet to decided which dvd it will be...perhaps Chest and Shoulders again. I hope to hit it really hard this week just to help build momentum for the days and weeks to come.

By the way...here's me on my new bike with the girls in-tow behind.
